Gorilla Software – Right of Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Note: This document is an English translation for the convenience of non-German-speaking customers. The legally binding version is the German version (refundpolicy-de.html). The contract is governed by German law, in particular §§ 312 ff., 355 ff. BGB and Art. 246a EGBGB.


Withdrawal Notice


Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose; however, its use is not mandatory.

In addition, an electronic withdrawal option is available on our website. If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you confirmation of the receipt of your withdrawal (e.g. by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.


Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For such reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.


Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal also expires if the trader has begun performance of the contract after the consumer has

  1. expressly consented to the trader beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period,
  2. acknowledged that, by giving such consent, they will lose their right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance of the contract, and
  3. the trader has provided the consumer with a confirmation pursuant to § 312f para. 3 BGB (§ 356 para. 5 BGB).

As our software is made available for download immediately after the order is placed, during the order process you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that, by giving this consent, you will lose your right of withdrawal. Your right of withdrawal expires when the download begins.

Voluntary Refund Policy

Note: The following provisions apply in addition to your statutory consumer protection rights. In particular, the right of withdrawal set out above and your statutory warranty rights (in particular under §§ 327 et seq. BGB and §§ 437 et seq. BGB) remain unaffected.


Try Before You Buy (Developer Edition)

Our software is available on a "try-before-you-buy" basis. We provide a Developer Edition that allows you to fully evaluate the software before purchase. The Developer Edition is fully functional and does not require registration. We recommend that you thoroughly evaluate the Developer Edition before purchase to ensure that the software meets your requirements.


Goodwill Refund for Technical Issues

If the software you have purchased does not work due to technical difficulties or platform incompatibilities, we will grant a refund at our discretion within 30 days of the purchase date. For this purpose, we require sufficient information to clearly identify your purchase transaction (e.g. order number, company name, date of transaction).

This goodwill arrangement is a voluntary additional service of the Provider and does not affect your statutory rights.
